THE SORROWS OF JESUS CHRIST
Just how would you feel if your children all of a sudden started to go
their own ways? In many families this has been happening. But daily more
and more families are loosing their children. This is devastating to many
families. Many christian families just cannot under stand why, just what
is going on. They cry all day long pleading with their children, but to no
avail. Their children are off onto a world unknown to them. Today so many
children have lost their way, their compass in life. But the parents don't
know why. What people don't realize is the compass of life is Jesus Christ.
"Jesus said the only way to the Father is through me"! If the children have
not been raised in a proper church, (not a industrial church) one controlled
by our government, our children would have the compass they need for our
country to make it! Just look at our country today, the constitution, yes
the constitution is what gives us our freedom of speech or rights to assemble
our freedom of religion but our present government is NOT of the christian
religion it is a Muslim religion. It is enticing to the children of the
dark! Islam is the fastest growing religion here in the United States
today. Why, we have a illegal president who is muslim. We now have a
government of communist who is changing our country, and not for the good!
My last writing was on Jesus being crucified daily over and over again and
no one is doing anything about it! No one is still doing anything about it!
When are the people going to realize Jesus is in sorrow. He does not like
to see his children turning to Islam. He does not like the way the United
States is turning away from Him. One of these days soon Jesus Christ will
let the world go, that is if we don't stand up and do something united!
But it appears the people are to consumed with their own personal lives,
which I might say is getting ready to change for the much worse. Right
now our republicans and Democrat's are of the same body. The body has two
heads, they may look different but they both stand for the same thing.
Have you ever heard anyone from either party tell the truth? They just
tell you what they think you want to hear! They when they get into office
they talk out of the other side of their mouth! Then they do just what
they want to do! We all are the children of God and almost all have
turned their backs to Him! No matter what anyone says we are still
crucifying Jesus Christ His Son daily by allowing things to continue
in the direction we are going. The United States is no longer considered
to be a christian nation, and yes we keep crucifying Jesus Christ God's Son.
Again I ask, just when do you and I mean you going to do to stop this
country from falling apart? This government can do nothing while this
nation is armed! That is why they are using the churches as a gun drop
off place! They have police to gather up the guns. once we all give up
our guns we will be just like any other nation using broom handles,
toilet plunger handles any thing we can use to fight back, but while we
have our guns and religion we can and will fight back. By the way the
disarming of this country is from Mrs. Clinton, she told the UN that it
would happen this year. They have to get on the stick to make the dead
line. I say give up your broom handles and sticks and keep to other.
Read Ephesians 6:10-18. 11, put on the whole armour of God, stand against
the wiles of the devil, we stand against the rulers of darkness of this
world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. wherefore take unto
you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand the evil
day, and having done all to stand, having on the breastplate of
righteousness. Well christians where do you stand, with God or against
God How much more crucifying of Jesus are we going to stand for?

IN THE NAME OF JESUS
Yes it has been a while since I have made a post! I start to write something and I stop myself
because of my feelings,
the anger that has built up in me. You are right, I should not be that way A pastor should not
have those feelings! But I do! Why? This old world just stands against everything and I mean
everything I believe in! I have been doinga lot of praying and more praying. The time has come
for me to tell it as it is! I keep reading that we can pray, but not in the name of Jesus, If I
can't pray to Jesus, the one that Died for me, the one that takes care of me, just who can you
pray too? We have to remove all crosses or emblems that represents the presents of the christian
religion,come on, where are all you so called christians? YES, where are all the so called
christians? I know where they are! There going to all the feel good churches, that's where they
are going. Those churches where the pastor says nothing about what is happing to Jesus Christ!
Jesus Christ has been crucified again right in front of your nose, over and over again! You think
you are a good christian? Guess what, Matthew 7:13, 14 Enter ye in at the strait gate, for wide is
the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction. Because strait is the gate and narrow
is the way,which leadeth unto life. and few there be that find it. Open your bibles and read that
until you understand what it says! You still think you are a good christian? Read the
Matthew 7: 15, Beware of false prophets which come to you is sheep's clothing, but inwardly they
are ravening wolves! Who do you follow? Who is telling you what is right, just look the other
way? It should be your shepherd, you know the feel good guy! If all the so called christians were
informed and read their bibles this country would not be like it is today! We could pray in the
name of JESUS CHRIST! Where is the back lash from what your children are being taught in school at
5 years old about homosexuals? Now It is a way of life! christians! Jesus Christ and the
christian religion is becoming a second rate religion and will be under ground before long. The
fastest growing religion here in the United States is Islam. In most countries the christian
religion will get you killed! Are most of you christians afraid to stand up and be counted? 85%
of the people here in the U.S. say they are christian, but when it comes time to take a stand, no
one stands up! WHY? Could it be the church? Heaven forbid! If it's not the church just what is
it that allows Jesus Christ to be crucified over and over daily and no one says anything? Jesus
said you will know them by their fruit, where is the fruit? Hell, yes I said Hell, most people
today don't believe in hell. Well, I want to tell you right now there is a hell and it is real.
I saw a short movie of a man who said he died and went to hell, he was ask what was it like there.
He said it has a real fire and people burning and everything you could think of that was bad. He
said the worst thing of all was the fact of knowing, there was no God or Jesus Christ there. He
said when you know there is no more hope and no light from Christ, for eternity it is all over,
gone, that was the worst of going to hell! How are our children going to learn about what happens
if you disobey Gods laws? They will fall through the cracks and right into the hands of islam.
This country has to wake up and realize we are on the wrong track, we are in trouble. Look at our
government, they are passing laws to limit coke, then today they want to limit the pizza to one
slice, and limit the amount of stake you can eat! The next day they will tell you who you can and
not worship. Do they know something we don't, they know we must be doing more things that are more
important, like studying who to vote for, or studying the bible passages from last Sunday's sermon!
I almost forgot, praying! If this country does not get down on its knees and start praying, first
for our salvation, our children, then you best had better start praying for this country because
it is on the brink of going down the tubes, and fast! Your salvation is the upmost importance, I,
along with many others think time is getting real short, it would not surprise me if the Lord would
not come just any time. Read your bibles, tell your pastor to tell it like it is! He is the one
that needs to tell what Jesus Christ is all about. He should know when Jesus is being crucified,
in fact he knows, the government has their thumb on his back because of the 501c3 and because the
pastors have been notified to help keep the people in order when this country goes under. Which it
will! John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life, “no one comes to the
Father, but byme.” If you had known me, you would have known my Father also! There is only one way
to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ. Its not the name over the door, it is what is in your
heart. Pray for Jesus to come into your heart, do it right now, ask him to forgive all your sins.
Now pray for your family ask God to touch their hearts, then askfor guidance in voting in the up
coming elections. Study the people not how much money they have, look at their pastrecords on what
they have done, and what they believe in! Amen!

FAITH and WORKS
I have had folks ask me before about Faith and how it relates to works, or can a person get
to heaven with only faith? What about the people who say they are good people and do things
for others, will I get to heaven being good, I am a good person? I always tell folks that faith
and works are like a real soft pair of gloves and hands, they fit just perfectly together.
Look in Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus is talking about being anxious, you know, worried that something
won’t work right, or it might rain tomorrow when you have to be out. But what does Jesus say,
He talks about the birds, they don’t plant seeds for food or reap nor gather into barns. But
the heavenly Father takes care of them. Our heavenly Father knows what we need before we even
ask Him! We are not to be anxious about anything but seek first His kingdom and His righteousness
and all these things shall be added to you. Jesus is talking about faith! Jesus is talking
about real faith. You know when you get up in the morning the sun will be up, that kind of faith.
But works, just how does works fit into or with faith. Look into James 2:14-17, this will tell
you the whole story of faith and works. You are a christian and someone comes to you asking for
water, you tell them to go in peace to find water? What have you done? If your brother or sister
needs clothes to keep worm, and you tell them to go in peace, what have you done? WORKS. It is
when you help your brothers and sisters. Works is when you do something that you know that Jesus
would want you to do. Working in the church, you know of a sister or brother that is sick, and
you go and visit them and pray over them to get well. Works! Faith and works, no we can not get
into heaven without both. Faith in Jesus Christ and doing what He wants us to do for Him, Works.
Look at James 2:18-20 Jesus says that faith without works is useless. We have to do the work
with our minds and hands for Jesus Christ to win more souls for the great good of the Father.
Lets go back and look at John 9:4-5. Jesus said “we must work the works of Him who sent Me, as
long as it is day, night is coming, when no man can work. While I am in the world, I am the
light of the world”. 2 Timothy 2:16-17, “all scripture is inspired by God and profitable for
teaching, reproof, for correction for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be
adequate, equipped for every good work, Please do not take my word on the bible, please read
your bibles pray for Jesus Christ to come into your mind and your heart.

Two Gods
It appears most people have two gods they lookup to! When in fact there should only be one.
In looking into this problem I see for one, people only look at money, yes money! If not, why
does it take so much money for someone running for office of this country to be elected? Are
people so stupid, a person has to be rich before they (the people) will vote for them? Or is it
the money they are looking at? In review of the people who get elected, I know it has to be
something about the money, sureley it is not the people they are voting for. The calaber of
people who get elected are something else. They are all wealthy and only need one more thing
POWER! Power over you and your God. They all say they are christians, but are they? The way they
run this country, lying, steeling money. Who's God! Read 1 Tim 3:3. Jesus Christ is the only
way. Not that He does not have enough money, for you see, He has all the power and money.
Also look and see how many people are turning away from Him. Now is it money or power? Power,
power who,s power? Satan's power? Think about it!

SATAN
Yes, I said satin! In the past people in church didn’t talk about Satan. You hardly ever hear
anything today about Satan in church or out side of the church! Why? Don’t you think you should
know something about him? How can you teach your children about him, to stay away from him if
you your self don’t know anything about him? The existence of Satan is taught in the seven
O.T. books, and he is acknowledged about his existence in Matthew 13:39. Luke 10:18; 11:18.
Lets check out Luke first and see what it says. Jesus said, and He said to them, I was watching
Satan fall from heaven like lightning! Now I must say, if Jesus Christ saw Satan falling from
heaven, which means Satan is here on earth with us! That is, If you believe anything Jesus says,
you have to believe this statement! He saw, him falling, Jesus saw him with his own eyes!
Folks Satan is here on earth right now among us doing his thing! Look at Matthew 13:38, Jesus
said, and the field is the world, and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom;
and the tares are the sons of the evil one; v39, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil (Satan),
and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. We have tares all around us,
they live among us in the city and the country, everywhere! Lets look at one other place,
Job 1:6-7, Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the lord,
and Satan also came among them. V7, And the Lord said to Satan, from where do you come from?
Then Satan answered the Lord and said, “from roaming about on the earth and walking around it”.
Now you tell me where Satan is and just what he is doing! Folks, he is doing everything he can
to spoil your day and mine! Now this gets us to another point! Just why do the pastors of the
feel good churches only preach the feel good sermons, have laser lights, surround sound and
carpets so deep they cover the tops of your shoes and polish them! Is this for Jesus or is it
for the people who attend and pay more in tithes? You know the old wide gate that leads to hell
and the narrow gate that leads to heaven; I just wonder how many pastors are leading people down
the wrong path? Folks its time, well its past time to stand up and look around and see just
where you stand with Jesus, is this all for Jesus or for looking good before people and earthly
things and the prestige of going to a large fancy church. The pastors of today are walking a
fine line. They are under the U. S. government and told what to say about many things that are
going on, or lose their tax exemption. There have been many churches that have lost everything
except Jesus Christ. You can’t serve to masters; only one and that is Jesus Christ! Feel free
to ask your pastor why he never talks about Satan? I say, read and study your bible! If you
are wondering why Satan never bothers you, stop and think. Why would he bother someone he
already has! Tonight when you go to bed, stop and pray, Jesus please forgive me for the sins
I have committed today and those I didn’t know about. Amen.

JESUS
I have been reading and listening to some of the news at what some people are saying and thinking,
especially when it comes to the bible. What I am hearing tells me people don’t know what the bible
says about how to get to heaven! I have talked before about using a road map to go some place,
especially when you are on a trip. I even have to stop some times and ask for directions. You
know how that is, you just hate to ask for directions. Most of the times when you do ask, you get
the wrong directions. Here the other day we went to Lodi CA for a religious rally, Jesus name has
been prohibited from public events, we all gathered in front of the city council to pray. There
were about 1000 people standing up for Jesus. I had written an e-mail to one of the councilmen
stating, what a stigma to be known as the first town in California to “ban the name of Jesus” in
prayer. The name of Jesus has been banned from so many places.
I have been exploring just what the bible means about the narrow gate and the wide gate to heaven,
just where does all this come together? Let’s look at Matthew 7:13 – 7:15. V13 Enter by the
narrow gate: for the gate is wide, and the way broad that leads to destruction, and many are
those who enter by it. V14 For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and
few are those who will find it. V15 goes on to tell you “Beware of the false prophets who come
to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves”. Well this sounds simple enough to
under stand; it is straight forward and to the point as to which gate we should enter! But there
is something else that is missing that people just don’t under stand! Lets look at John 14:6,
Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life, “no one comes to the Father, but by me.”
If you had known me, you would have known my Father also, henceforth you know him and have seen
him.” I hear people all the time saying, I am a good person. Brothers and sisters that don’t
get it! Good will not get you into heaven. Others say I do good things for people, again that
you do good works just wont cut it! Folks there is only one way into heaven and that is through
Jesus Christ! You can pray all you want, but if it is not to Jesus Christ you have missed the
boat! Today there is so much going on, we have to be real careful to just who we listen to.
Satan Yes Satan is really working to take as many people with him to hell! Some of our churches
have missed the boat, by changing what the bible says and allowing women as ordained ministers
leading the church. They have also ordained active homosexuals to lead churches. These churches
are leading people straight to hell! Our government is leading people away from the name of
Jesus Christ. Read your bibles don’t even take my word. Read, Read and read, it is your life
you are playing with. Spending the rest of your life (eternity, a life without ending) in hell
is a long long time and it is your choice!

MAN, THE BIBLE, WORLD CONDITIONS!
Man was given knowledge through God. In the Garden of Eden, Genesis 3:1-24.
The fall of man. But lets look at verse 5, For God doth know that in
the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be
as gods, knowing good and evil. Verse 7, and the eyes of them both were
opened, and they knew that they were naked… Man knows the difference
between good and evil in our world today. But, here in lies the
problem. To make our life easier we start with our own deception, our
inventions, half-truths, in other words bending the truth to fit our
life styles. Look at 2 Timothy 4:3-4, For the time will come (I think
the time is now) when they will not endure sound doctrine: but wanting
to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers
in accordance to their own desires; and turn aside to myths. Does this
sound like today? If we don't like it, we will change the bible to say
what we want it to say! Not what God wanted it to say! You know,
fooling ourselves, thinking that God will not notice our evil ways, but
He does. So, man and the bible are at odds with our way of life. Just
look at our way of living today. People living together without being
married. Jumping from one bedroom and bed to another, but you say this
is the twenty first century! We don’t live back in the bible times!
The dark backward times. Today, we are more mature, grown-up, wiser, in
other words “we know it all”. Today we are allowing people of the same
sex to be married! We all know what the bible says about that. I was
reading the other day that 1 in 4 junior and senior high school girls
have STDs. (sexually transmitted disease) Young girls can have abortions
without the parents consent. Yes, this come up on the ballot to be
voted on to be stopped, but the people saw fit to not stop it! They
just didn’t care I guess. Our judges today make the law as they go,
that is to suite themselves and their ideals. The people of California
voted several years back to make a marriage of one man and one woman.
The supreme said that this was against gay marriage rights. The people
voted and the long black robes saw fit to change the law! Now there is
a lawsuit in the making, a doctor who turned a couple away from an
in-vitro clinic because of their own religious views. That of lesbians
and gay man. Then it goes on to say, “A group specifically protected
under state anti-discrimination laws”. So now gays and lesbians are a
“protected group”! Who passed that law? Was it the people we elected
to run this state or country? Enough said on gay and lesbians, lets now
look at world conditions. Is our moral vision blinded like as described
above when we look at the people we elect to run this country?
Apparently so. If you doubt my word, read the bible and then look at
the world conditions. We are starting the presidential elections for
2008. What a dismal start! What we are going to have to vote for is
something else to say the least. I would recommend voting for Senator
McCain, he has the background needed for the job. But the liberal press
is starting their liberal push to fool the people and bring them around
to the liberal side. When it looked like trouble for the demarcates in
the preliminaries the media started the recession with little articles
then big articles and the people started saving and not spending and
what happened, a slight recession. Then little articles on the housing
market and then the slowdown in the housing market. Today after the
demarcates settled just who they would pick to run for their party, here
comes an article “foreclosures hit record high and crisis may get worse
still”. I wonder if that still will hold until after elections and if
we have a democratic president? The newspapers and television are
calling our President and our Republican government liars, that they
lied about WMD in Iraq. When in fact there were WMD there. But now we
have a man running for president who no one knows! Look at his
background, into his past, Muslim schooled while a child. Parents who
were Muslims. His church is something else, militant! But he went
there for 20 years to find out what the church was all about! The
church sounds to be against white people, against the United States, and
this man has made it to almost President of the United States with this
type of background. Do you see anything wrong with this picture? The
Christian religion is not and I repeat not the main religion in the
United States, it was at one time, but not now. The teachings of Jesus
Christ have fallen by the wayside. Within 15 years the Christian
religion as we know it today will be an underground religion! I wont
speculate on what religion or god we will be kneeling down to or the
direction. We as a free people (now) need to take off the blinders and
see the world as it is, and should be seen. If we continue down this
path we are on, we will no longer be any different than any other third
world country. We will be just like any other eastern country or our
southern neighbors. If we here in the United States don’t stand up for
what is right and right for this country, it (we) will be lost! I say,
if you are right we will be ok, but if I am right, we are lost and not
coming back.

WHY ARE SO MANY OF OUR PRAYERS NOT ANSWERED?
In many of the books of the gospels Jesus was healing people
all the time. It was His commandment that his disciples go
fourth and heal also. Lets look at several people that was
healed by Jesus. Matthew 8:5-7 And when he was entered into
Capernaum, there came unto Him a centurion, beseeching Him,
and saying, Lord my servant lieth in the house sick of the
palsy, grievously tormented. And he saith unto him, I will
come and heal him. Jesus knew something! Matthew 19:1-2
Jesus had departed from Galilee, and came into the borders
of Judaea beyond the Jordan; and great multitudes followed
Him; and he healed them. Jesus knew something about them.
Luke 8:40-50 And Jesus returned, and multitudes welcomed
Him; for they were waiting for him. And behold, there came
a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue; and
he fell down at Jesus’ feet and besought him to come into
his house; for he had an only daughter, about twelve years
of age, and she was dying. But as he went multitudes
thronged Him. And a woman having an issue of blood twelve
years, who had spent all her living upon physicians, and
could not be healed of any, came behind Him, and touched….
“the border of his garment”: and immediately the issue of
her blood stanched. And Jesus said, who is it that touched
me? And when all denied, Peter said, and they were with him,
Master, the multitudes press thee and crush thee. But Jesus
said, some one did touch me; for I perceived that the power
had gone forth from me. And when the woman saw that she was
not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before Him
declared in the presents of all the people for what cause
she touched Him, and how she was healed immediately. And He
said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go
in peace. While he yet spake, there cometh one from the
rulers synagogue’s house, saying, Thy daughter is dead;
trouble not the teacher. But Jesus hearing it answered him,
fear not: only believe and she shall be made whole. The
bible gives us a very detailed and vivid picture on what it
takes for prayer and healing to take place. Folks it can
take place today, we just have to follow the plan that Jesus
has put fourth! Jesus knows our hearts, He knows if we mean
what we say and think. In all these cases the people knew
that Jesus Christ could heal them. They knew, no doubt,
they knew it would happen. Like the woman with the blood
issue. She knew beyond any doubt if she could just touch
His robe she would be healed. She did touch His robe and was
healed. Now I want to ask you, how many of you go to church
and pray for something, heeling, whatever. You feel and you
know that Jesus will take care of your problem! You get up
and turn around and bend over and pick up your problem and
leave the church with it in tow! Now stop and think back,
did any of the people that Jesus healed stop and question if
Jesus would heal them! No not one! How can Jesus take care
of your problem if you give it to Him and then take it back
from Him? Brothers and sisters, give your problems to Jesus
and forget them, let Jesus take care of them. That is his
promise. BUT only if you let Him do it.

What is our country be-coming?
God is being removed from our schools by
the day. Graduation invocations cannot contain the word “God”. Everything
pertaining to God is being removed from all government
buildings. In Los Angeles, the city had to remove a cross that had been in
the city insignia every sense the inception of the
city. Anything religious appears to have been removed from every part of
our lives. I wonder what they will find next, that can be removed that
pertains to God? Now it appears that our church
“denominations” are starting to change. The very
“foundations” of our Christian beliefs are starting to
crumble and slip away before our very eyes! People today are so
busy working two jobs and long hours to keep the families
together. They do not have the time to invest in reading the
Bible, much less notice what is happening. But some are taking
the time to still make it to church on Sundays with their
family to hear what the pastor has to say. In fact in
today's fast pace, many people only make it to church
occasionally. One would be surprised to know how many children never make
it to church at all.
What is the underlying cause of all these changes?
Today the news media, newspapers, radio,
and television news seem to be following very little of the
changes except for the negative aspect of our Christian
faith, then making the negative sound good. It also appears that
many of our elected officials do not believe or express
their views on any religious philosophy. But this is a trend
of the times; one would say, “This is just living in the
twentieth century”. But, back to what the
real cause is! Knowledge!
Knowledge of the road map to the basics of our
Christian beliefs. The road map in the book of life, the Bible!
Lets review some of the major pit falls we are facing today.The Christian way of
life has been changing for the past two decades. Things like seeing
ordained women pastors. Where in the Bible
does it say anything about ordaining women as pastors?The Bible says just
the opposite. If God had wanted women pastors, He would have said
something about it! I should mention one other thing here; it says we are
“not to add”, “or remove” anything from the Bible.
But we have already added something! Ordained women pastors.
The next item is ordained homosexual pastors.Again the Bible is very explicit on this
subject. It is not allowed; it is spelled out very clearly
verse-by-verse. But we have denominations that allow ordained
homosexual pastors. Other denominations fighting for equal rights for
homosexual pastors.
What has happened?
Can we just tare out the pages of the
Bible and throw them away and go on?
Has Gods words of
the twentieth century come to the point that we know more
than God that God was not able to judge or think a head for
this time in the world? Are we so smart as to second guess God
and say this is right? If God had wanted ordained homosexual pastors, He
would not have said what he did about homosexuals!
Has satin infiltrated our churches, or even taken over some of
our churches?The people are being lead down the wrong path, the
road with many paths leading to destruction! They believe what
the pastors are telling them, and the people don’t know the
difference, or they just don’t care.
We are
coming up to the time for our senate to vote on the marriage
amendment bill. It appears our elected officials are leaning towards
making the change, where two persons of the same sex can be
married. Is this marriage going to be sanctioned by God? Under mans law they
might be married, but not by Gods words in the book of
life. Here
again we know more than God does, God in not capable any
more. There have been signals in the times
past, and even today. But we as a human race are running every red stop
sign of life. We have become so smart, so smug, and our knowledge
is so superior now, that we don’t even need God any
more! So we think! Have we forgotten Sodom and Gomorrah? People need to get down on their knees
and start praying for forgiveness? We need to turn back to God. We need to put God
back into lives, schools and our Country again. If we
don’t, may God have mercy on us!
Read Gen 19:1-29, 2 Peter 2:5-6.
It is past time for
the Christians to stand up and be counted and to hold our
church officials, and our elected government officials to
what is right in the eyes of God!

WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN - One who belongs or is devoted to
Christ.
This is one of several NT terms applied to
the followers of Christ. This term is formed from the word
Christ (Messiah) and the -ians ending, which is from the
Latin and used only with proper names (cf Herodians) in Mark
3:6. The word Christian only occurs three times in (Acts
11:26; 26:28) (1Peter 4:16) all these imply that it was
recognized title in the NT period, though it was evident
that there were other names which Christians themselves
used, and perhaps preferred.
A Christian is one who
belongs or is devoted to Jesus Christ! One who belongs or is
devoted is one who believes in and is a follower of Christ.
One who belongs or is devoted is a person who has accepted
Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Accepting Jesus
Christ as your personal savior means that you have had a
sincere change in your heart, mind and life! Along with that
you want and desire with all your heart and soul to live and
act like Jesus Christ. Knowing we cannot be perfect like
Christ, we want to work towards coming as close as we can to
being perfect. However, pledging your heart and soul today
does not mean that tomorrow you can go out and do what you
want to do. We cannot go to church or bible study one day
and when we leave, leave our Christianism lying on the front
steps of the church until next Sunday. In this case, how can
one say he/she is devoted to Jesus Christ when he/she leaves
Him at the steps of the church and doesn’t carry Him in
their heart at all times? “Being a Christian, a believer, is
being part of the body of Christ. Are we not to be the
church that the Holy Spirit dwells in? We, being many, are
all one body of Christ, and every one (severally) members
are one of another.” Ro. 12:5.
Has our
Christianism been stolen? Today just about everyone you talk
with says they are Christians! Are people un-aware of just
what being a Christian means? Has the word Christian become
a word that means little or nothing? Has it become just a
social acceptance word? Has our society become so liberal
that the Bible is being considered “outdated”? Folks Satan
is at work in our churches and Bible studies! He is at work
in our everyday lives! Please do not believe what people of
the world tell you! Check even what your pastor tells you,
take it to the word, and study your Bible. You need to read
and learn just what the word of God is so as not to be
fooled by the false prophets! Take a moment and ask
yourself, just where do you stand with Jesus? If you stand
with him, you cannot be against him. To be against him means
that you are favorable with the worldly views of right and
wrong and follow what has become the truth of Satan. No
matter how we feel, if we are true Christians, we have only
one choice and that is to go all the way, as the body of
Christ. Just how far would you go to support Jesus Christ?
He went all the way for our sins! He died on the cross for
us.
Let's take a look at some of the issues of
late. There was a church back East that asked some of the
Deacons-Elders to step down from their positions due to
indifference with the pastor and some of the other board
members of the church. First lets take the stand as
Christians and know that the bible is very clear about not
going to court with other believers, but to go to your
brother first. The second is that we always support Jesus
Christ! However, in this case, they did not! What happened
in this church, the Deacons- Elders did not support Christ,
they went against their pastor; they went against Jesus
Christ and what He stood for by going to the court system
and attempted to gain their positions back in the church.
What was the wrong that was committed by these Deacons-
Elders of this church that warranted the severity of them
being asked to step down? These Deacons-Elders voted for the
Democratic Liberal Candidate. What did that mean to the
church?
Well, let’s take a look at the last
Presidential election. One candidate supported the killing
of babies (Late Term - Abortions). What was the motivation
to accept this when it went against what the bible says?
This is only one of the issues that the board looked at
before asking for the Deacons-Elders to step down. What
about the death penalty? What about people just living
together? What about homosexuals? Just how much can we fudge
and get by with? Nothing at all! Either we are with Jesus
Christ or we are against Him. Understandably, having
diversity in the people of a church is a must; we should try
to get as many people in our churches as we can no matter
what their background. But before they can become part of
the governing board, the body, they must be for Jesus
Christ! They must be saved born again Christians! Being
Christian's means we must remember the standards that we
must live up to in our daily walk. Now, remember one thing
these were leaders of the church and they made the decision
to vote for someone who openly opposed our Christian
beliefs. Therefore, they were no longer looked upon as
favorable leaders in a church that follows Christ. They had
no right to be looked upon as righteous in the eyes of the
Lord by their choices that were made in their social and
political views.
Making the choice for Christ may
not go along with our social, or political views, but where
do you stand? Who do you support? In this world today it is
very hard being bombarded daily with tolerance issues and
liberalisms. Folks, there is no gray area; there is just a
very fine line! Remember, you are either with Christ or you
are against Him and to be against Christ is to allow room
for Satan to take over your soul! There is black and white
don’t get caught in the gray…. If we are not careful Satan
will steal our Christianism! Be sure to read and study your
Bible. Pray for the strength to continue in the footsteps of
Jesus Christ.

PASSING JUDGMENT
Here the other
day when we were watching Schiavo on TV, he has had another
woman in his life and with children, I had made some
comments and my wife called me down for it! Now, is it
our place as Christians to sit in our living rooms and point
fingers at him and call him names and a sinner?
Ephesians 4:29 tells us that if we can't say anything
nice, we should not say anything at all.
Well, I
do get my feathers all twisted when I hear people refer to
the hypocrisy of Christians!
There is a sad
attitude in our country today, which says our individual
sins should not be pointed out and that we should not be
held accountable. People say, "Jesus say's we
should love one another!" This is true, But did not Jesus call the Pharisees empty
tombs! He said that they were steeling from the
widows, He called them "snakes and Hypocrites. Jesus was certainly being judgmental! Look at Luke
11:42-44, 20:46-47. It is time and even past time
for Christians to hold up the standard of righteousness and
call evil just what it is! If you were driving down
the road and a car passed you almost hitting you while
weaving all over the road, would you assume they were drunk,
and a hazard to everyone on the road? So you pick up
your cell phone and call the police. Are you not being
judgmental?
To ignore sin and not call it what
it is, is just as careless and just as deadly! In the
New Testament it also tells us to examine the lives of
people we come in contact with! We are "not"
to have dealings with certain people we come in contact
with. But, do we not have to judge these
people?
Jesus said, "A good tree does not
bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.
For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not
gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a
bramble bush. The good man out of good treasures of
his heart produces good: and the evil man out of his evil
treasures produces evil. Luke 6:43-45. Jesus
clearly indicated that we must regard certain individuals as
hypocrites. In John 7:24 Jesus said, "Do not
judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous
judgment." There are many more verses that make
it clear that having an opinion about a person and
expressing it is proper! In Titus 3:10, Paul advised
Titus, "Reject a divisive man." John said,
"Beloved do not believe every spirit, but test the
spirit". 1 John 4:1 and "if anyone comes to
you and does not bring this doctrine of Christ, do not
receive him into your house nor greet him. 2 John
10. None of those three verses can be obeyed without
expressing judgment. It is a judgment, which
recognizes the fruit produced. It is not a judgment,
which pronounces sentence. That judgment remains
forever in the hands of the Lord God Almighty. In all
the teachings of Jesus Christ or the Apostles, there is
nothing that relieves us of the obligation to form opinions
about people, and to act upon the basis of these
opinions.
This also implies that at times it
will be our duty to express our judgments. Jesus quite
frequently called sinners just what they were ---
sinners. If we as His followers do not condemn the
sinful lifestyles, we are supporting those lifestyles.
Today there are to many hypocrites, and we are saying
nothing, which in fact, we are approving the lifestyles of
today, the filth on television, open sex out of marriage,
children without morals. When are we Christians going
to wake up and see what is going on around us. We need
to start passing judgments, judgments that recognize the
fruits of the Holy Spirit. Use the Philippians grid
4:8, to determine whatever is true, whatever is noble,
whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or
praiseworthy- think about such things.
