WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HAVE IN STORE FOR US?
I was reading an article the day about our media and the bailout.
The question was regarding the government owning the media companies
after the bailout. That being the case just what type of media coverage
would we get? Would we get just what the government wanted to tell us like
some other countries, or would we get the truth as should be told.
Preservation of America’s democracy has long relied on a free and
independent press. But that being said; our free and independent press
has not and I say not been independent and free from corruption and non
biased! Our news media for the most part is so liberal it is not funny.
This past year I would say most of the reporting has come from the
Internet and nothing checked out. It appears the bloger’s word is good
enough; lets call it the truth and put it out as the truth. Fair, there
has been nothing fair about this past two years of reporting. To be
perfectly honest I think the government controls most of the media now!
The sad part of that is the people believe every thing the media puts
out. To make it worse they never check it out to see if it is correct.
I am a Vietnam veteran and in and out of the local VA hospital. I see
and talk with a lot of the veterans returning on leave from the Middle
East. They can’t under stand why our media is saying we are loosing
the war. Now I ask you! Just why men on leave would say things are
going good and our media says it is not! You know why? It is not a
popular war and a man called Bush started it. Now is that fair
reporting and not biased? I trust the service men over the news media
anytime. They are there and see what is going on while some reporter
doesn’t know what he or she is talking about. The war is just one
aspect. In 1977, remember the long lines of people waiting to
purchase gas, the BIG shortage! There was no shortage. There is
no shortage of gas today! We have more oil here in this country to
last another 200 years. Granted we need to look for alternative
fuels. But the lies from the media and government just what has
happened to our country? Fair reporting I don’t think so. Another
thing is our higher education system. When I went to school, history
was the way it happened. But the liberals didn’t like the teaching; it
wasn’t going their way. So our colleges started hiring the liberals
to teach and slowly things started to change. Today one of the
requirements to become a professor, you must have a past as a terrorist.
Just why do we have all these off the wall speakers talking to our
children? Stop and think about it! Just why did Obama pinpoint the
college group for his campaign? I heard on the news tonight that our
president elect said he is looking at cutting welfare, Medicare, and social
security now let me ask you, do you think that was pushed by the disabled,
or the elderly on social security? Nope, try the younger people. This whole
mess is a sham. Bail out should have never happened, nothing. What started
this whole mess was our news media! The sky is falling. Say it enough
times and you will have everyone believing it. Folks it all started with
the housing market. Our media started telling everyone the price of
housing was falling, now remember if you tell everyone enough times
people will start thinking it is true. Then next was the job market,
then sure enough, the losing the war, everyone was ready to cut Bushes
head off. Then it was the United States that started the war. If you
still think I am off my rocker try this one; stimulus just what is a
stimulus? This is where the government prints money they don’t have
to give to the people to try and get them to start spending again, business
come under this also banks you name it, it all comes under stimulus!
Why? Because the media has been telling and telling everything is going
down hill, and everyone stops spending, everyone! Our news media
controls too much when it controls the peoples thinking! What is sad,
is just what do we do to get reporters and newspapers to be honest.
It all revolves around politics and money, greed and just how much we
will get out of it. Everyone is working the angle to make big money or
gain more power. They just don’t care about who they hurt on the way.
It boils down to greed dirty greed! You know folks we are losing our
country over this. In fact we may have already lost our country! It
all started back in the early 60s when we started removing God from
everything! Someone ask me the other day if there was a Satan? As we
remove God from everything, Satan smiles and moves in! Something to
think about. The rest to follow, you know “watch the world fall
apart”. Check your local channel and times for up dates. It is sad
the greatest free Country in the world has fallen!

How time fly's 2008
Here we are starting a new
year! Where does time fly to. It was just a blink of the eye and we
were listing to all of the presidential hopefuls. Now we are listing again
to the same type of hollow speeches. I have never seen so little running
for office as we have this year! As Christians we have a duty whether you
want to believe it or not! But that is the way it is if you are a follower
of Jesus Christ.Remember your duty to Him does not stop at the doors of
the church when you walk outside, but continues on even when it becomes time to
vote. Also one must remember the tree of knowledge, yes knowledge, we must
not think the war we are fighting in not biblical, in fact it is! Just
where would you like to fight this war? In California, Texas, or New York
or where we are fighting now? When looking these presidential hopefuls
over and listing to them we have to stop and think with a rational mind just
what is going on in this world today and put in into a logical order.
Remembering what has to be done as to opposed to all the hollow speeches and
words. We must look where these men are from, their beliefs their
teachings, how they lived their lives. Are they Christians and do they
follow the bible? These are all things we must think about as Christians!

The Freedoms of the United States, do you realize what freedoms you have lost?
I have been doing a lot of news reading lately, I guess as most of
you have been doing also due to the world conditions. However, something sticks out most of all. I have written several articles in the past, “What is our
country becoming”, The United States is morally bankrupt). However, as I have been reading and saving articles a glaring
pattern keeps becoming known. Teen stabs her baby 135 times, Deserted babies a national
problem, and Abstinence effort shows little progress. Yes, abortions are on the raise, that is the killing of
babies! There is another article “God and Gays film will be shown at
Wesley United Methodist church”. This film deals with how American homosexual Christians deal
with life”. The biggest trend I see that we all should be looking at
along with the above is the Islamic religion! Europe is about 80 to 85% Islamic.
You ask why would I put that with all the above?
Because it all relates to our moral fabric, the heart of what
we ‘did’ believe in the years past.
We as Americans have lost something!
We no longer get up on Sunday mornings and go to church, we
no longer read the bible, we no longer want God in our lives!
In fact, the word Jesus Christ can get you expelled from
school!
Just what and where do you think our children will learn what
the word moral means?
I read an article the other day that said only 1 out of 10
children read the bible or know anything about the bible!
The word bankrupt means per my dictionary.
It is as follows; a person legally declared unable to pay his
debts, that is bankrupt; insolvent, lacking in some quality
“morally”.
Both of these answers apply to now, the new age thinking, and
religion apply to both.
Here we are in the 21st century and man has
learned everything there is to know. He knows it all revolves around
money, power, having more than the Jones’s next door, man now knows
it is alright to live with another woman out of wedlock, have sex
out of wedlock, man thinks it is alright to lie, steal, you know
just the little things, be demeaning of other races and religions. Look at the movies that are produced today. Sex sells! Man has come a long way in life he has become that all wise
knowing it all man! Know I ask you? Where dose morel fit into this picture? Just how do you know the difference? I am not going to quote from the bible, or give you bible
verses to look up! You as modern people, you know it all! Just one more question, where are you going when you die? Have you bought life insurance to cover that trip? I think you had better find a road map to figure out how to
get where you want to go “when you do go on that trip”!

Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay the taxes!
Something to think about, When I was a small child I can
remember hearing Tokyo Rose on the radio. The below brings back
old memories!
Good historical perspective; too true to be ignored.
You may agree or disagree with this but one thing is
sure if we don't stand together we will all fall
together and I don't think any of us want to be in
the heap no matter what you feel politically.

Anyone who
remembers anything about World War II, or has
studied anything about World War II, will
understand and remember that during World War
II, the Japanese developed a way to demoralize
the American forces.
The Japanese psychological warfare
experts developed a message they felt would
work.
They gave their
psychological warfare script to their famous
broadcaster
"Tokyo
Rose"
and every day she would broadcast this same
message packaged in different ways, hoping it
would have a negative impact on American GI's
morale.
What was that
demoralizing message?
It had three main
points:
1. Your President is
lying to you.
2. This war is illegal.
3. You cannot win the
war
Does this sound
familiar? We hear it daily!

The only difference is that they claim
to support our troops before they
demoralize them.

The freedoms of the UNITED
STATES of America.
What does it mean to be an
American Citizen?
It means we have freedom, well not just freedom but a lot of freedom,
compared to other countries.
However, the one that concerns me most of all is the freedom of religion.
We can choose whatever religion we want to be.
However being a minister, a spoke’s person, and a messenger for Jesus
Christ I preach the word of God as it is wrote in the Bible that I believe in.
Other people believe differently than I, but that does not mean I cannot
be friends with them. The Bible
says that we are to love one another.
It does not say we are to pick and choose by what others believe in.
There are other reasons we are not to associate with certain people, but
that is not what I want to talk about now.
I was reading an article the other day, “Muslims misunderstood in
economy, reports find.” Of course,
this is in reference to economy, but there were some statistics that caught my
eye!

Muslims make up at least 2% of the US
population and about two-thirds are younger than 40 years old.

About 2% of the American Muslims between the
ages of 25 to 34 are registered voters, compared with 15% of people in that
age group across the country.

Nearly 30% of US Muslims are converts to
Islam.

About 70% of American Muslims older than 25
have a college education, compared to 26% of the general US population.
There is something wrong
here when looking over the above!
Muslims make up two percent of the population and most are younger than 40. All young people, 25% to 34% are of voting age, and 30% of the Muslims
are converts to the Muslims religion, but also have college educations. The Christian religion is loosing our young people to Islam. Of course, other religions attract people but nothing in comparison to
Islam. I read another article that
said only three out of ten children would attend church this year. How can this be?
Why are we not taking our children to church?
How will they ever learn about Jesus Christ? We are allowing our children to fail! They will fall into the trap below! As a messenger of Jesus Christ, I must speak up for Him. People must and I emphasize “must” understand just what the requirements
are for being a Christian! Jesus said first we must love one another, John
13:34, and today most people do that, so they say. Now the guide lines start to form, John 3:16 “For God so loved the world,
that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever “believeth in Him” should not
perish, but have everlasting life”. Whosoever believeth in Him, now comes the meat of the believing! We must believe in God and Jesus Christ. There is no getting around it!
John 3:18 “He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not
is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only
begotten Son of God”. At this point
and this is a point, you will say, “what about all of the other religions?” Just what will happen to all those people who believe in other religions,
will they have everlasting life?
Will they know God or other gods?
Again, just what does the bible say.
John 3:16 and John 3:18! It tells
you just what God says, no beating around the bush! I did not say it, no other person said it, and it is right in the bible! If you do not like it just tare out that page from the bible
and throw it away. God is a loving
God just like the parents of today, they love their children, but they do not
like what their children are doing!
God may not like what we do but He still loves us. We will punish our children for what they do wrong! God will punish his children for doing what He does not like us doing. Again, we are the children of God, all of us! No matter what religion or no religion, God loves us and along with that
comes the punishment if you do not follow what the bible says! You know, today some people will say that the bible is out
dated, not even used anymore the information in it is wrong! Well guess what?
If I am wrong, you will be ok.
However, if I am right, eternity is a long time!
Because of that last statement we have to be careful, I visited a church the
other day and I want to tell you, I felt out of place! I was the only person carrying a bible. Even the pastor did not have a bible with him! Everything was printed out copied and passed out. I can see having a church bulletin, “but no bibles”! Today we have to be careful of just what we believe in, and who is
telling us just what is what! What
I tell everyone is to read, read, read your bible, believe what the bible tells
you! If someone tells you
differently, beware!
